Evolutionary Journey: Crafting Excellence in Pneumatic Tools
Our Founding Vision (1970-1980)
IEC was founded in 1972 by the visionary Shri. Shankar Mahashabde, setting the foundation for our journey towards excellence.
Early on, we expanded our portfolio by launching a comprehensive range of screwdrivers and impact wrenches to address industry needs.
In the early 1970s, it expanded its product line to include pumps for marine applications and chemical dosing, targeting specific sector requirements.
Milestone Inaugurations (1980-1990)
The 1980s witnessed significant milestones as our Mumbai Office was inaugurated in 1985, followed by the incorporation of APT Pneumatics Pvt. Ltd. in 1988, marking crucial junctures in our growth.
In 1989, we incorporated IEC DUSTERLOH Pvt. Ltd., expanding our corporate portfolio and solidifying our presence in the energy industry. In the same year, IEC AirTools signed distributor agreement with WEBER.
During the 1980s, IEC Group expanded its operations across India, establishing a presence in major cities such as Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, and Bengaluru.
Expansion and Innovation (1990-2000)
In 1990, IEC Group formed a strategic partnership with Weber, enhancing its product offerings and market reach.
In 1992, we signed a strategic tie-up with Fiam and introducing latest fastening solutions to Indian market.
In 2000, IEC Group launched an indigenous range of pulse tools, marking a significant milestone in its commitment to innovation and self-reliance in pneumatic technology.
IEC Group began exporting its products to key global markets, including the USA, Europe, China, and the Middle East, significantly expanding its international footprint.
A Legacy of Half a Century (2000 onwards)
In 2017, IEC Group partnered with Durofix, further enhancing product portfolio and offering diverse range of cordless tools.
We proudly celebrated our Golden Jubilee on May 16, 2022, marking 50 years of unwavering commitment to delivering excellence.
